General Engineers accepted orders for 5 hybrid power units to be installed in sites of the Israeli Defense Forces by the end of the year. The units will serve observation and unmanned off-grid sites combining a high-efficiency ASCOT DC generator, battery back, Solar Frontier thin film solar panel and powerful controller, and DC/AC inverters and chargers.
